nonsense ..... we still get many MMA fighters who come to our gym to try and improve their skills ....

If you knew anything about boxing then you would know that training full on to box is incompatible with MMA

Boxing is the biggest combat sport in the world......... it will never be replaced by MMA
To defensive. When did i say it will replace anything. I say jiujitsu guys will have boxers in house to improve the striking of grapplers and boxers, will have grappling classes in their schools. Nobody said replacing anything.

Youre arguing something in your imagination.

by saying MMA is the future and citing James Toney as an example thats what you are implying .....

there is absolute zero reason for a boxer to take grappling classes ..... you might as well be teaching basketball players how to shoot a soccer ball ...

Im not implying, thats how youre Misinterprating but thats not tue intent.

Boxers becoming grapplers is a stretch. Understanding some basic fundamentals of clinch work, takedown defense, basic takedowns, and basic ground defense to get back to your feet are good self defense options, if learning them are available to you. Many boxers in l.a are doing it :manny:

Grapplers learning boxing fundamentals and footwork can help them u derstand how to better employ jiujitsu. More knoledge the better

Happening already. More and more people are cross training and more schools are cross marketing arts. Go to bjj gyms you find a boxing class. Go to a boxing gym find an mma or bjj class. James Tony does this. Been there, participated.

If u can find legit training aceoss multiple disciplines in one spot why would u not learn.

Maybe your plan b should be learning BrazillianJiujitsu, Mr.

If they teach MMA at a boxing gym :hhh: you in the wrong boxing gym:francis:

Comp, spar, or pads?

Spar but since I wasn’t trying to hit the guy I was sparring I kinda retracted my knee a bit which altered my footing when I was coming down and I landed with all my weight on one leg and my shyt snapped and I fell backwards.
