Personally I loved Robert Zemeckis' run, but because BTTF was a trilogy I didn't include him in the poll. John Hughes had a great run too, but I haven't seen them all. Who else am I missing?

Kubrick, Scorsese, Nolan

I can't pick. Dark Knight Rises and Interstellar are 6/10 meh's...but if TENƏT is shaping up to be as good as that first 5 minutes looked he belongs in the conversation.

James Cameron should be on there
Also, Spike Lee should be on there.

  1. She's Gotta Have It
  2. School Daze
  3. Do the Right Thing
  4. Mo' Better Blues
  5. Jungle Fever
  6. Malcolm X
  7. Crooklyn
  8. Clockers
  9. Girl 6 (inferior to the rest of the list but still a good movie)
  10. Get on the Bus
  11. 4 Little Girls
  12. He Got Game
  13. Summer of Sam
  14. Bamboozled
  15. 25th Hour

Then he finally fukked up with She Hate Me, which has some entertaining elements but is his first bad movie. Salute the best Black director ever please (not you Dr. Omega specifically the board in general).
