I probably wouldn't take much of any of his policy suggestions, but I'd still value his opinion and I'd have dudes like him around to keep it from being an echo chamber and just to be familiar with opposing views and how they're argued.

There are tons of better options than Niall if you want serious opposing analysis. Raghuram Rajan and even Mankiw come to mind. But Niall
