You must be incredibly young. It's hard for me to see Oregon even worthy of being "hate-able" by anyone other than rivals until about 5-6 years ago.
I hated Notre Dame all the way back in the early '90s at least because I couldn't stand that they were always on TV every week rather than the teams I actually wanted to see play. Then I briefly rooted for them when they got Willingham...and came with the HARD hatred after what they did.
