Which city had the better urban movies: LA or NYC

LA Movies seem to have more action. NY movies were more organized as far as crime goes. So you get more one on one shootings compared to 5 dudes sitting in a low rider shooting as other nikkas.
But for scenery purposes NY and east coast movies had the best scenery for urban showings.
LA movies looked like a bunch of nikkas banging in burbs. Which as a young kid I didn’t understand.
Do the Right Thing and Paid in Full are my my two favorite urban movies. Paid in Full only because I prefer the hustlers lifestyle over a gang members lifestyle any day of the week so I connected to many of the NY movies more.
