bo handled his business on the baseball diamond, deion wasn't too shabby, brian jordan was decent

but i'm talking the way jim brown handled shyt at syracuse not necessarily that many sports but we always here about lebron playing for the browns and :aicmon: was a damn good qb

so which athlete you think present or past could have dominated another sport besides their own?

no one compares to Bo - Deion mighta been a better football player, but not a better baseball player, if bo hadn't gotten hurt we would be talking way more about him than we do

now that's players that have been there and done that

---

for people who could? hrmm good question

lots of pro athletes did multiple sports in college (FSU QB/PG ring a bell)? Charlie Ward, he had a good career as a PG, he coulda handled it on the field too

---

Lebron would make a pretty good tight end i think

AI was a great QB

Hershall walker is another freak athlete that could do anything he wanted

Uncertain grounds
Wilt played volleyball too:dead:

Before even reaching high school age the freakishly athletic Wilt Chamberlain is reported to have high jumped 6'6" which is a mark that would win most high school varsity track meets. Around the same time Wilt was also putting up ridiculously impressive broad jump numbers that are understood to be as far as 22 feet.

Wilt took up his first love of track and field at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas while also playing basketball there. The 7'2" goliath ran a sub 11 second 100 yard dash and also threw the shot put 56 feet. Despite competing and excelling in both sprinting and throwing his best events were not surprisingly the jumping events as Chamberlain triple jumped in excess of 50 feet and successfully won the Big 8 Conference high jumping competition three years in a row. In the world of track and field it is an extraordinarily rare athlete that can compete at the highest level in the shortest sprints, all the jumping events, and the throwing events. This dynamic collection of talents is so rare in fact that Wilt might be the only man ever to possess this unique skill set.

Wilt also possessed absurd strength, because there are stories of him bench-pressing 500 pounds, or picking up and throwing large teammates (or opponents) with ease.

Legend has it that Wilt was considered one of the strongest men in the world during his prime, which is made even more amazing by his height, which usually would preclude such feats.

what event(s)?

Instead, he was an avid track and field athlete: as a youth, he high jumped 6 feet, 6 inches, ran the 440 yards in 49.0 seconds and the 880 yards in 1:58.3, put the shot 53 feet, 4 inches, and broad jumped 22 feet

my nikka Wilt forever a legend in that broad jumpin.:myman:

AI mighta been too unorthodox for the QB position,ud never hear the end about his mechancis:laff: coulda been a punt returner maybe DB with added weight:manny

4.24 rondel melendez
4.24 chris johnson
4.28 demarcus van dyke, champ bailey, jerome mathis, jacoby ford

usain bolt hasn't run a "timed" 40 but its been tested to be anywhere from a 4.19 to a 4.22
