Chronic, Doggystyle, and All Eyes on ME were all released in the winter too

but of course Cali dont have winters there.

We ain't talkin' about release times, we're talkin' about how the album feels (or at least I was - that's what presumed other dude meant by that). West Coast makes music sunny day, top down, bytches in dazzey dukes music - summer chit.

And the reason why it was that way is because as you say, Cali doesn't have proverbial "winters". Even hardcore Cali music has a different feel from hardcore music from somewhere else, it's not as "cold".

How does getting "help" from other artists mean that you haven't made a classic album? Not every album can be Illmatic or The Blueprint.

Illmatic is overrated, cuzz. That's not my fault. I didn't make it overrated.

But them Eastsidaz joints are classics. At the very least, they are 2 of the very last successful true West Coast major label albums.
