Never been there :ehh: could be good, Granny's Kitchen got the best sides (especially the mac & cheese) and chicken I've had in LA though hands down.
I'm a brunch/breakfast guy, and plus with yal being 2 hours behind, I be up out there early af cause I live in central timezone. Def check it out if you in to that. I also checked out this Po Boy spot and this cheese cake joint that was :ohlawd:

Man, there's so many places in LA and LA is so big in general, it's hard to say what the "LA experience" is really like. Even saying DTLA is the experience would be shortsighted. There's like 100+ neighborhoods within a 90 mile stretch from the beach inland.

more a fan of their style of play.
Just like people aren't cavs fans, they're "Lebron" fans. I started balling with them on 2k, back in 2011, and continued following them ever since. I like underdogs and small markets.
And my breh is a clippers fan. But I end up going 90% of the time because we have 4 seats....

Yeah my dog works for Addias and gets tickets all year long. I hit about 10 games a year at least.

Been to L.A. countless times...wonder why I've never been downtown either
DTLA is just now on the come up. It was neglected for a couple of decades. In most cities their downtown is everything and the city center. With LA you have alot of different spots, areas, cities to chill, sight see, party, dine, etc. Hollywood, Santa Monica, Pasadena, Culver City, Long Beach, Beverly Hills, Manhattan Beach, Venice, etc. Downtown LA took off once Staples was built over 12 years ago or so. Now its one of the hottest areas in the city. The problem is you have the Skid Row section in DTLA which has been there for about 30 years or so but now its clashing with all the gentrification, new condos, bars, restaurants, hotels, etc. But its looks like, from what I've been hearing and reading, they're going to be getting the boot/pushed out to somewhere deep in the valley. Olympics are coming so:francis:

I say find a central location so you can head off in whatever direction you choose around the county and not be to traffic fatigued on your way back to your spot.

Central l.a is close enough to everything but away from all the disgusting bums.

Pasadena to far if you plan on making multiple trips to west l.a beach but pretty safe.

West l.a to far west to make muktiple trips east but close to the airport.

Long beach forget about it.

Downtown is cool long as younin one of tye nice hotels. Those buildings with lofts on numbered streets that have shops with gates that pull down like garages n shyt? When its dark there will literally be zombies walking around outside uttering jibberish. If you arent trained in Brazillian Jiujitsu you might be nervous.

Central l.a your best bet for air bnb. Like greater wilshire. Im a little bougie though. Im not going out of town to be around broke shyt.

A car is 100% necessary

LA is too big, and everything is spread out so, get a car. If you get a cab/uber you going to be paying a lot of money if you really trying to take in a lot of the surrounding areas.

Parking fukking sucks tho... that's the one thing I hate about LA.
Walk a block if u got to. Its nothin....
