i suggest going to a shelter though. Most cats and dogs at the shelter get put down in about 3-4 weeks from what I heard. We should do that to humans instead

yeah i dont reccomend declawing but it's an option... never did it to my dogs

I call bullshyt... there's a difference between street dogs and the dogs people have as pets in most countries. I agree mike vick shouldnt have gotten that much time for killing dogs

I'm really not sure yet what I'd want to get. I have a fondness for pitbulls but also little dachshunds.
Am definitely not interested in dogs that shed much, though.

I have American Pitbull Terriers (Bully Breed). The father and mother (sire and dam) are 100% raw fed from birth. The mother is off big boi's kennel and has a really good blood line/genetics. If you decide on a pitbull and are near maryland let me know, my female is pregnant. I'll work with you.

I have a pup off their first litter which is really a beauty (phyically and mentally). Ill let u see her if you want to.

I'm in NY...I guess MD isn't TOO far, but I'm not ready just yet to take the plunge.

I'm asking now to get information and advice. My building doesn't really allow pets but my lease is up in the Spring so I figured if i went and got a dog, I should research now in case I have to find a new place.

I got a puppy about a month ago from craigslist. Paid 85 for her. She's a cane corso/pitbull mix, with possibly some lab. Got her at 6 weeks and she's 10 weeks now. It's a pretty good deal and she's gorgeous. Didn't get her from a breeder or puppy farm. Just an owner who didn't realize that their slut dog went and got knocked up till a month or so before birth.

Love my dog though. I recommend adoption if you don't have a ton of time. Adopting an older dog. I'm a full time student so when I'm not at school I'm home most of the times. And believe me if you get a puppy you'll need that time to spend with their ass.

And definitely crate train.
