Picked up my Bianchi Giro (Craigslist) in March. Love it. I've put at least 2k miles on it and feel every one of those in my legs.

I fux With city and trail riding. City, helps my balance and reaction time. Trail, stamina and power building.

Need a tune-up. Any recommendations in the DC area?

cotdamn that looks tough. How much that thing run u? it looks like a road bike but it only has one gear :ohhh:

Not sure how much I'm in financially at this point. It's a budget build with quality parts though. I bought the bike fully assembled and gradually swapped everything out on it. Just the frame is original at this point. Weighs like 19lbs iirc.

The bike was bought from bikesdirect.com for $279 shipped. It's an unbranded Fuji Featherweight that comes with crappy components. Their two most popular models are the Windsor Hour, which I bought, and the Kilo TT.

Wabi Lightweight Wheelset - $225

Carbon Fiber Nashbar Fork - $100

Shimano SRAM S300 Courier Crankset - $120

48t Velosolo Chainring - $50

18t Cog - $25

Kmc superlite chain - $50

Origin8 Slimline Pedals- $65

Gatorskin Tires - $80

Shimano 105 brakes from a clearance bin -$65

Bullhorn handlebars - $25

Brake Levers - $25

Used Selle Italia seat from a clearance bin - $100

Looks like it came up to about $930 spread out over about 8 months.

These guys are in Falls Church, VA but are mainly known for their mountain bike expertise, however are a Bianchi vendor: Bikenetic Full Service Bicycle Shop

These guys used to be down in Georgetown on M and are a great shop: Join the Revolution! | Specializing in bicycle sales and service for DC, VA, & MD

I used to date a road bike chick a few years ago, so she put me privy to some stores in the area.
