You can't generalize all black women directors like that. Issa, and Ava DuVernay would never do a movie like this. Plus not all black men directors are here for us either. They stay casting ONLY biracial lightskin women to play us.

As much as this upsets me, being a clear sign of an agenda, black men need to begin showing far more love to BLACK women. Lebron being thenexception, most of these black athletes are not having children with BLACK women. They are not marrying BLACK women. Most of the women in the videos put out by artists our BLACK children watch do not feature BLACK women. There is a sick fetishization of PAWGS and lite brites among many black men, which has resulted in a terrible decline of self esteem in our BLACK women.

Additionally, if we base this on LSA threads, Amandla is viewed as a joke for this movie, among other things. In regards to the director, she clearly has internal issues with her blackness. Not only does the director ignore the existence and black romantic relationships, she doesn't even focus on her own image - every single movie has a biracial lead.

The original comparison wasn't fair either. I think she was comparing Africans in America dating interracially to AA in America dating interracial. A more fair comparison would be to compare AAs who emigrated to another country to Africans and West Indians in America.

To add to this, it's part of a 'national mythos' of sorts. Like say if they made educational montage animations about the histories of America, Britain, France, Russia or Germany, you can bet any money that WW2 would have some standout imagery in it.

Course there are a lot of nations that don't care about it like Argentina or Brazil (I think), who did minor shyt like sell food to some countries, so when they think of WW2 they probably think of stuff from pop culture like D-Day landings from Saving Private Ryan. I'd say this is the case for most non-European countries.
