I know damn well it's full of black people and there is no access to white people like that. Doesn't change a thing to my argument thoughHow you comparing irr in Africa to America? That's a continent of black people. What?
I'm making a nuanced argument, you catching feelings. We been here with wp a long, long time; if we'd wanted to swirl ourselves out of existence, we would have already done so. Instead, we used social shaming as a deterrent. I myself know several AA women who wouldn't even have considered it if not for seeing all the African and WI doing it with a dgaf attitude. That's normalization of a thing we found abhorrent. Like little boys walking around in dresses and shyt. Weirdo shyt we did not encourage.
The reason it's such a common point of debate among us right now is because it's still relatively new.
I don’t follow all her career. I just know what the Coli postShe played a black girl in The Darkest Mind though
Even the Jewish people during WWII had traitors that worked with Nazis to either protect their own and or fatten their pockets/higher status .Why are they romanticizing Nazis
fukk is really going on in Hollywood
Could have sworn she was in a movie where she is a terminally ill girl but risks it all to date some healthy white teen
Africa doesn’t have much white people to make a fair comparison to IR in America. This loyalty seems to be a subject of debate on this site and every other social media platform where AA issues are discussed though. Everyday it's a new Michael B Jordan issue. Yall statements "West Africa stays c00ning" look funny in the light when we compare interracial rates in America and in Africa.
I don't want to derail the thread but that pointing finger rhetoric needs to die.
And its the same (Black Brit )woman who's been going really hard to get these movies made.Talk about pushing a fukking agenda, this is a bedwench equilavent to the notebook or titanic.
Nah.Her contemporaries are Zendaya and Yara so far...Do you think they are or will be typecast the same?
Which factually makes "West Africa stays c00ning" type arguments incorrect.Africa doesn’t have much white people to make a fair comparison to IR in America.
Has any of these bedwenching movies been a success ( box office wise)?
both should be denounced. There's a media agenda pushing both but the marriage stats are clear that bedbucking is still a bigger problem right now than bedwenching.
You can't generalize all black women directors like that. Issa, and Ava DuVernay would never do a movie like this. Plus not all black men directors are here for us either. They stay casting ONLY biracial lightskin women to play us.
As much as this upsets me, being a clear sign of an agenda, black men need to begin showing far more love to BLACK women. Lebron being thenexception, most of these black athletes are not having children with BLACK women. They are not marrying BLACK women. Most of the women in the videos put out by artists our BLACK children watch do not feature BLACK women. There is a sick fetishization of PAWGS and lite brites among many black men, which has resulted in a terrible decline of self esteem in our BLACK women.
Anywho i really don't care and i don't think that black men should react negatively to this. With that being said if black women don't call this out then i don't wanna hear about boycotting Michael B Jordan or any other black male celeb that dates interacially or does movies as the love interest of a non black woman
Africa doesn’t have much white people to make a fair comparison to IR in America.
Doesnt mattter when, if it was 2 years ago or if it was 10 years ago. BM Directors have had a marginal role in Hollywood since conception. Theres only few amount of BM directors have had been given chances, so whats your point??? Regardless, Ryan Coogler stays putting BW in films, so stop bytching. Theses Brehs have each put up 3 timeless classics, that wont be forgotten soon.nikka that's recently
And 2 of those movies had no choice but use darker skinned girls because it wouldn't have made sense otherwise.
I'm agreeing that hollywood in general including black directors tend to use lighter skinned girls historically.
Well Argentina hosted hella NazisTo add to this, it's part of a 'national mythos' of sorts. Like say if they made educational montage animations about the histories of America, Britain, France, Russia or Germany, you can bet any money that WW2 would have some standout imagery in it.
Course there are a lot of nations that don't care about it like Argentina or Brazil (I think), who did minor shyt like sell food to some countries, so when they think of WW2 they probably think of stuff from pop culture like D-Day landings from Saving Private Ryan. I'd say this is the case for most non-European countries.
I stand on my own square. I dont make threads for plebeian laymen like you nor do I give any actual fukks what you think is important.lmao. Nikkas make 10+ pages about an actress' role, but allow OP of all people, to be talmbowt "that agenda"? bubu I cape for tariq so I'm legit

yeah I know, you're about the special interest, not the common folks like the plebeian. Thus my commentsI stand on my own square. I dont make threads for plebeian laymen like you nor do I give any actual fukks what you think is important.
