Again...stay stubborn. This thread obviously isn't meant for you since you're stuck on why this thread is being made rather than adding input to WHAT is being asked.
If the some of the GOP keeps up their hard-headed ways then the only way they win national office again is if the electorate gets "bored" with the Dems and one party rule.
These fools HAVE to compromise....but it will be fun seeing them kicking and screaming trying not to, and further accelerate their extinction.

pretty much. i realize tea party has become a dirty word but there's a difference between a north east tea party person and a social conservative.

to be fair the people that painted Romney has some dude that was going to send gays/women/minorities to concentration camps and such are just as scary as the social consevrative wackos....too many people on both sides.
Also I live in NY so there are a lot more of those folks than thew social conservs that are all over the south.....whihc is why its hard for me to identify with these hippie liberal NY types.

Fox didn't lie to them they just didn't forecast a landslide like the liberal media did
and why would they predict a boring easy victory for Obama when they can get better ratings but saying it's close and that Romney will win by a small margin

If you think Romney being painted as a guy who'd send gays/women/minorities to concentration camps didn't get him their votes, I'm apt to believe you think of gays/women/minorities as simpletons.
I never said that though either.
Its just funny people are saying the wave of the social conservative is done(which is true, thank god) its just Romney was actually pretty moderate,

Here's the difference, many Republicans believe in the way Obama was painted and voted against him for those reasons because you hear those voters say that. gays/women/minorities didn't believe Romney would send them to concentration camps. You only hear a few democratic politicians and their proxies say that.

Fox has the republican base right where they want them. For as much crap as we give CNN for playing both sides of the coin, Fox does this shyt EVERY TIME it blows up in their face. Folks need to remember, fox's main tagline is that they're "fair and balanced."
How did they execute that last night?
Who was the first media source to declare Barack Obama the winner of last nights election? What source then took their camera's downstairs to their war room to show you the "hard working" and "credible" sources crunching the numbers? Karl Rove was stumbling and "panicking." You really think Karl Rove, KARL ROVE, would get nervous because of county numbers from fukkn Ohio. Dude was counting and recounting like a 5yr old that lost a dime of their lunch money. All of this was done with smiles. All of this was done to establish transparency. All of this was done to eliminate bias.
And every media source quoted them as the go to lead when it was announced.
Get ahead of the story. Report it from the front, so it doesn't look like you're admitting defeat, but painting a picture of the events.
