i think house of cards is complete trash after season 1 so i guess we just got different tastes then



GOT at its peak in my top 10, but they botched most of the last two seasons for me so it pulls it out the running.

I think the last season was complete trash, but the first 5 seasons are amazing. There’s a reason the show is still in the top 50 on IMDB even with season 6 bringing down its rating.

Plus you mentioned Mr. Robot hasn’t had a bad season, you’re right about that but its only been 3 seasons. Give it time, it can still have bad seasons. Plus GOT first 3 seasons shyts all over it.

next season supposed to be its last, so i doubt it.

but i just disagree with that. there way more examples of bad acting on GOT for example. the chick who played dany can't act for shyt and was a major character.

Cmon GOT is definitely Top 5. It set standards so high with the first 5 seasons that when it fell off to great show we all thought it sucked balls. GOT is gonna be Star Trek and Star Wars level in pop culture for the next 50 years.

My top 3 are The Sopranos, The Wire and Breaking Bad in any order.

Then I love Narcos and Homeland so GoT fits in around there somewhere.

Wouldn't call it trash but I'm trynna understand what I'm missing. What I watched felt like V for Vendetta: The 6 Cert series. Couldn't finish. My taste aligns with a lot of brehs hyping this up, too.

Game of Thrones has now become underrated, never thought I’d see the day. People including Mr. Robot like that show isn’t only three seasons in. Compare the first three seasons of GOT to Mr. Robot and it isn’t even a comparison imo. Same with shyt like Spartacus that doesn’t even have half as many episodes as GOT. GOT’s peak is up there with the cream of the crop. I don’t see how anyone can take anything away from the first four seasons.

Look at the number of seasons all of the best shows on television have had.. Thrones has three more seasons than the Wire and Breaking Bad. GOT is a show that had 8 seasons that probably should have had 10-12. It’s radically different from every other show on television. It’s almost unfair to compare it to other shows because it doesn’t have the benefit other shows have of focusing on a single story or a few main characters, the GOT world is completely sprawling.

Spartacus has one of the greatest TV Series finales I've ever seen. If Game of Thrones season 8 would've had more episodes/time, it probably would've been number 2 on my list.

edit: actually after breaking bad ended the americans was still at its peak too, so nah. it was never the best show on TV.

Agreed, especially about the Americans. From this decade I'd take Justified, Fargo and Atlanta over it too.

Fell from top 3 to top 10. The last season reminded me of when the pats lost their undefeated season in the SB. You can't have that ending with such poor execution and still be in contention for the greatest.

I feel like it’s hard to put a series that is still going on. It could have a hot first two or three seasons but fall off a cliff after. I would put Barry and Atlanta up there if season 3 delivers.

Seeing a few shows like Fargo, mad men and deadwood being mentioned a lot. I’m gonna have to check them out.
