The only time that it's acceptable for men to do the 80/20 thing is if the woman is a paraplegic :scust:

The only woman I do for and not expect anything back from is my mother.

It comes from the immutable laws of the Universe. It's just true.

Do some research before you try to use your noodle to grasp this. Cause it's counterintuitive for sure

Funny this old thread gets bumped after I used an example of it with women in the other thread.

The 80/20 basically simply is no one is going to be 100 percent of what you want but if they are checking 80 percent of what you want then they are probably a good catch.

A lot people will go leave 80 percent of what they need to go pursue 20 percent of what they want.

That Tyler Perry movie with Jill Scott

I forget the scene but I'll never forget this scene

That's a big 20.

80/20 rule is the pareto principle. It's not an immovable number, it's just a commonly observed reoccurring principle in generally every facet of life and nature.

In relation to humans, it refers to the propensity of humans to choose partners who have a higher perceived social value. Typically that value is a public consensus of traits that are desirable in a partner; 6 feet, 6 pack, 6 certs, etc in men. Fit, friendly, and feminine in women. It varies from person to person, but there is a consensus, and it's kinda laughable that people in here would use their personal experience as the exception to the rule to be the standard rule. 80/20 is not a hard-coded number. It's just a concept to illustrate the majority wants the minority.
