At this rate? It will be a while. She's damaged goods. The WWE needs to her image to be rehabbed in the worst way before bringing her on, if they still do. You can't market someone who got their ass handed to them in the manner they did and have them be taken seriously. Brock had credibility as a WWE champion and also had a condition that could have killed him. He brought more to the table than Rousey does.
Ronda losing actually helps her in working with the WWE if you think about it.
Her opponent now has a talking point and her "selling" for an opponent won't seem far fetched/unrealistic now that she doesn't have that "baddest woman on the planet" anchor on her. It limited what they could have done with her.
Charlotte doing flippy shyt and not getting tossed on her head then arm barred woulda looked a bit silly. Steph getting ANY offense in would have also
