no , i knew you werent black and not AA, so again im not sure why you think your opinion is important when talking about black american culture.I'm half black and half Indian....Bermudian/Guyanese. You could've just asked first before you spoke out of ignorance.

Nah you're just making dumb baseless shyt up. You don't even know what west Indian means apparently because I'm not west Indian. I'm not gonna tell you all about my life, I'll just say you're off base and you know nothing about me and leave it at that.A lot of you west indian nikkas are not in tune with black music like thatThe West Coast, Midwest and the South have always fukked with each other more than the East Coast with any of the above... I'm inclined to say a big part of that is due to cultural differences.
no , i knew you werent black and not AA, so again im not sure why you think your opinion is important when talking about black american culture.
i really wasnt going to comment but then they had the audacity to say oakland had no black culture, while mentioning the black panthers in the same breath. absolutely ridiculous.
and also saying oakland has no crime, not that that wouldnt be a great thing , but again just making stuff up.

But you should understand that not liking 90's mainstream bay area music does not warrant any explanation because most people did not like that shyt. If you think otherwise, you live in a bubble Nobody I grew around with listened to anybody I named in the OP other than Too $hort.
I'm descended from west African slaves.
Speak on a region's music history that you know nothing about brehs
Them too.indian slaves
You caught feelings because I think your mainstream music scene is wack."My bubble is more knowledgeable than your bubble"
Congrats, your region doesn't have a V-Nasty to bring up... out of a total of 5 rappers
You forfeited any right to impartial discussion with all the retarded hater shyt you've posted in here.
This has to be the biggest reach......You're on Dhalsim levels with this theory. The Bay Area's influence on Black culture is cemented in history, doesn't matter if the demographics shifted. That's not to say that many Bay Area heads on here aren't non-Black, but the fandom of Bay Area hip-hop heads and the demographic shift, shouldn't automatically omit and erase everything the Bay Area has meant for Hip-Hop culture and Black American culture in general. You sound silly right now man...@Mephistopheles the real reason why posters reppin' the bay go so hard is because 9/10 of them are non-black, and the demographics of the bay is majority non-black. Hip Hop culture and black culture in the bay in general is weak, so they use the bay area music scene as an IN or justification to be apart of our culture. The same way they pretend the demographics of Oakland is the same as it was in the Black Panther era.
