Hearns is claiming that Joshua is demanding to fight Wilder next in April

Eddie Hearn, promoter for IBF, WBA, WBO, IBO heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (22-0, 21 KOs), reveals that his boxer is only interested in facing WBC heavyweight Deontay Wilder on April 13 of next year.

Wilder is back in the ring on December 1, when he defends his title against undefeated Tyson Fury at Staples Center in Los Angeles.

The winner of that bout, where Wilder (40-0, 39 KOs) is a massive favorite, will be the frontrunner to face Joshua next.

Because Joshua vs. Wilder is arguably the biggest fight in boxing, Hearn needed to initiate the negotiations as soon as possible.

Joshua was in action last month, also at Wembley, when he knocked out mandatory challenger Alexander Povetkin in seven rounds.

“We’re in talks now with Deontay Wilder,” said Hearn, in an exclusive interview with talkSPORT’s Hawksbee and Jacobs.

“Things are actually starting to progress a little bit because we can’t wait until December. This isn’t a deal that is going to happen overnight. All we’re saying to them is let’s have a meeting, let’s keep talking, because ultimately we all have a duty to make this fight.

“My job is to deliver for my client and my client wants to fight Deontay Wilder. It is the only fight he wants next and my job is to make it happen. If I don’t, I have failed. I have failed the fight fans, I have failed myself and I have failed Anthony Joshua. And I don’t expect to do that.”

Hearns is fully of shyt. It's just lie after lie after lie. He and his father, Barry Hearn, already let the cat out of the bag over a year and half ago for AJ's plan for the foreseeable future. Lillian Whyte, who tried the revisionist BS saying the Ortiz was ducking him, got his coat pulled thinking that Ortiz wasn't going to respond thinking that Ortiz was locked into the Wilder-Fury undercard. He (Ortiz) called his bluff for a December 22 fight and you haven't heard shyt from Fast Eddie and Lillian since. I'll take that back. Eddie said that the fans would rather see Lillian vs. Chisora II that Lillian vs. Ortiz.

If Lillian gets past Chisora, he's fighting AJ in April. When AJ beats him again, AJ's fighting Uzyk.

This is absolute horseshyt from Fat Dan Ravioli. Fred from Barbershop Conversations has seen the contract and we talked to Wilder on a conference call yesterday and he said it was BS as well. Wilder demanded that Fury get a guaranteed rematch clause for Fury even thought this is a voluntary defense.

Fury's trainer dispelled this BS three weeks ago due to this fake shyt being started by Eddie Germ sycophants online. After he did that, the Eddie Germ/Anthony Joshua protection squad started saying that Wilder did that to avoid an April date. I really wish you guys make up your minds.

I don't understand why wilder would give fury a rematch if he wins?!

Why do we need to see 2 fights from these 2 without the first fight happening yet. I can see why wilder would want rematch as champ but fury getting one if he loses is bizarre.
