Just like his last fight , if he doesn’t get Fury out by 8-10 , there will be a new WBC heavyweight Champion of the world. And American Heavyweight boxing will be irrelevant for years again :francis:

Fury is an interesting dude and a character, would have liked to see them give him more than 19 minutes but maybe he was pressed for time since I think that was before the press conference

How you gonna be a world class champion in a combat sport and can't talk shyt, lol.

Talking about Deontay Wilder here. If i was 40-0 with 39 KOs, gotdayum I'll be talking my shyt, especially to a dude like Fury.

I get it that some fighters are about that action, and show respect to their opponents. But a foreigner like Fury talking that crazy, Wilder gotta come with that American ether.

there are a lot of boxers that cant really talk shyt like that..they dont train that in the gym breh lol

in this particular case wilder and fury dont hate each other...just one fighter that is more naturally talented at selling a fight than the other

wilder earlier this year was talking that :demonic: wanting to catch a body in the ring shyt in the interviews and had mad ppl go :whoa:..if he didnt get that backlash he'd prolly say that shyt again for this

im seeing rumors now of Jr vs Angulo being the co main event for this. I am really hoping that its just a vicious rumor that somebody is spreading.
Yea dudes info can be very shaky at times, sometimes he is on the mark other times dude just posting shyt outta his ass. if true this is a fukking fail from Haymon, all these boxers at your disposal who have barely fought this year and this is what you are serving up?

i want to spend money on this, whether PPV or theater, and not feel like a robbery was committed lol. im going to be optimistic and think showtime actually wants to be number 1 and they are putting all the collective boxing heads together to deliver a palatable undercard

Fury's actual form (not just physical but overall boxing form) is surely the X-factor here but I think a lot depends on Wilder's approach too.
Wilder needs to be more aggressive than he usually is against Fury.
Because the highlight reel KOs and wild windmilling finishes people often time mistake Wilder for a slugger type of fighter who goes into brawls, takes one and gives one. He can occasionally brawl like he sometimes exchanged with Ortiz but it's not a staple of his... Against better opponents Wilder is rather comfortable probing on the outside with jabs and keeping the range until the opportunity present itself for a big shot.

He is a weird fighter cause although he is not a slugger kind of fighter (and surely not a pressure fighter or swarmer) his gameplan is still relying on selling a fight ending punch over the course of the fight and not to outbox the opponent.
Problem with this is that if ever he won't be able to land that punch on a decent opponent he might very well lose on points and while he has pretty fast recovery and a toughness to him, he also. can be shaken by bigger swings. As we saw against Ortiz, Duhaupas or Molina.

Wilder takes his time to finish his opponents, Molina in 9, Duhaupas in 11, Szpilka in 9, Arreola in 8, Washington in 5, Stiverne in 1 and Ortiz in 10. So since he became a champion 5 of his fights ended in the second half of the fights and only 2 took place in the first halves even if I'm aware that he knocked down some of them in earlier rounds too.
If Fury is in form he is harder to hit clean than any of those dudes including Ortiz and he is taller, longer and bigger than Wilder which he knows how to use. If Wilder is waiting patiently to his shot until the late rounds he might find himself suckered into a points loss. I realize that he becomes more open if he takes a more offensive approach but he may need to be more active in offense in order to knock an "in-form" Fury out.
