ICYMI:
Showtime posted a hype picture of Wilder vs Fury with plenty of the heavyweight greats in the background.
They hired this dude Boss Logic to draw it, based on his twitter it doesn't seem like he would be a hardcore boxing fan but I guess he was instructed who to include who to leave out

They posted up the first version which included many great but James Jeffries was on it twice and for some reason they included Marvis Frazier there but not Joe Louis :mjlol:

Then due to the comments the picture got changed. I can't find any picture of the first, deleted version but here is the second one:

As you can see Loui is included now instead of one of the Jeffries
But you may notice that in the upper right corner where Marvis Frazier was originally he drew Joe Frazier... again so now Joe Frazier was on it twice
full

Finally I saw today that dude made a 3rd version :deadrose: where he took out one of the Fraziers and it's finally correct

Tyson Fury Secures Freddie Roach To Be in Corner For Wilder

Tyson Fury is going to have some added expert backing on December 1.

Fury has hired Freddie Roach to be his cut man for the upcoming world title with WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder.

The contest takes place on December 1 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. Showtime/BT Sport Pay-Per-View will carry the contest.

Fury has been training in Big Bear for the contest, and recently moved his camp to Roach's Hollywood gym, the Wild Card Boxing Club.

In recent weeks, Roach has been assisting Fury and his head trainer, Ben Davision - who replaced the boxer's uncle, Peter Fury, as the lead voice in the corner.

While Roach will be working as a cut man, he will likely provide expert advice and strategy during the contest when necessary.

Fury, who snapped more than a 2 year layoff back in June, is a very big underdog in the contest.

“He asked me if I’d work in his corner,” Roach told Chris Mannix of Sports Illustrated. “He asked me if I could do cuts. I said, ‘Yeah, I have guys better than me though.’ He said, ‘Do you know what you’re doing?’ And I said, ‘Of course I do—I have everything you need.’ So I’m the cut man.

“I like him—he’s very positive and he has a good idea of how he is going to win this fight. He’s got good legs, he feints well. He’s a talented guy. I think he has the ability to outbox [Wilder]. He can’t outpunch him. If he tries to slug with him, he’ll get caught. But he’s a good boxer and he has good legs and I think he can box for 12 rounds without any problem whatsoever. He seems to be in very good condition. Boxing here, he has gone up to 12 rounds a couple of times.”

Very hard for me to pick a winner here.
Reason is that I believe if the Fury who beat Wlad shows up he outboxes Wilder to a wide UD but if a rusty version shows up Wilder knocks him out.
I think the first part is key here. If Fury gets back to level where he beat Wlad, then he is going to school Deontay in a wide decision. Too much movement and awkwardness at that size, plus that long jab that sets up some solid combination punching. Deontay has the equalizer in his straight right hand, but as you've seen, it's not easy to catch Fury flush. It's a big "if" though.

Fury not going to make it pass 12 rounds against Wilder. No way in hell. I've seen his last two fights and he looks sluggish. And he will not get back to his 2014-15 form. That old Fury is long gone. His time is almost up.

Y'all said the same thing about Ortiz. Wilder gets better and better each time he face a better opponent. Alot of boxing fans underestimating Wilders boxing IQ.

Great to have Freddie in his corner... but no disrespect... them hands as a cutman tho? :patrice:

If Wilder opens him up it might be a wrap
