I don't think the average person realizes what's going on.
What's happening is these finance/mortgage companies are buying homes out for straight cash. 80000 wired direct to your bank account in 30 days. They get these senior citizens with medical bills, take the house put 20000 worth of work into it, then rent out each room including basement area for 1500 a month, or sell it outright for 300k. The average person looking for a mortgage doesn't stand a chance and it won't change unless laws are changed.
I bought my house cause I played this game. Spent over 10 years living in the projects driving older cars I owned while saving cash so I could buy outright. On my street, I'm surrounded by renters. Both houses next to me, and the three houses directly across the street. A fourth is up for sale. All of the homes were sold by grandparents for cash under 100k. They were single family homes. They now house three to four families apiece, each family living in a room designed for a child but bigger than a hotel room. This is a nationwide problem, and it took a conflict for me to explain reality to these idiots, u do not own that house you rent here. This is not your neighborhood, it belongs to the property owners.
It's ok, don't listen to me. In 20 years almost everyone in America is either gonna be paying 2k+ for rent, or u gonna have roommates. The corporations will be the property owners.
