I think we are at the point of permanent have nots. People who have shyt now are passing it down to their kids, whether that’s real estate, life insurance policies, retirement savings, trust funds, etc…
Yup.

There was a couple ToneTalk vids from October where he lays out just how far blacks are behind economically.

Wealth gap is about to look more ridiculous than it already is due to opportunities afforded through inheritance. Meanwhile it'll only get harder for blacks to "break in" due to circumstances highlighted in this thread and the video below.

Get some skills folks before you become part of the permanent underclass. shyt ain't a game out here.

It truly is not a game at all. If you aren’t earning at least $150-200K+ per year minimum (depending on where you live), OR you don’t have parents that own a home that’s close to or fully paid off, you’re most likely NOT going to own a home in your lifetime, ESPECIALLY if you’re black.

I don’t think people realize how lucky Gen Z cacs and Asians are going to be, once their Gen X parents start to retire in the next 10-20 years. Those kids most likely have parents who will have owned homes, and fully paid their homes to give to their kids through inheritance. If you’re Gen Z, that’s how you get ahead of the game. Imagine inheriting a fully paid, $1 Million+ house in the next 10-20 years. That’s the situation that these cacs and Asians will find themselves in. Meanwhile, blacks will unfortunately fall further behind in the wealth race, and become a permanent underclass.

Thats bad for business though. If people move in with each other, it's going to leave a lot of unoccupied space.

Its not bad for who's business?

Literally every single ethnic group that migrates here does this. They stack a whole football team in a 2 bedroom apartment...10 years down the rode they're driving luxury cars and buying houses/condos splitting off n owning businesses and shyt.

I wish I had a property with more land....I'd turn it into like a "compound" ..... build like a small apartment or some shyt for my kids when they're legally adults and figuring it out if they don't leave the nest right away. and or a space for the inlaws if needed.

The idea of it taking a village is actually a good idea. I've seen it work a million times in all types of ethnic groups.

Many brehs were preaching about moving to more affordable areas but any time people brought up places like the Midwest or parts of the Southeast people turned their nose up to it. Yall need to stop being overly reliant to needing a certain "lifestyle", most of yall aren't making enough paper to truly take advantage of places like Atlanta, Miami, Houston etc. so look for places that can offer better affordability, most cities have clubs, plenty of places to eat, some level of good looking women. Many people keep waiting for 2008 again or some type of crash thinking they will take advantage of it, truth is those type of crashes happen when most people least expect it and aren't prepared. Stop waiting for something to happen, find ways to increase your pay or find more affordable areas.
Where the jobs at?

You haven't seen anything yet. People are trying to time things right. But they're well be bidding wars again. Trust me, there are a lot of people who can afford high mortgages.

You want a starter home? Get a remote job and move to a small town. Sad to say but that's about the only affordable homes out there.
A lot of people can afford high mortgages?

And your answer for affordable housing is to get a remote job and move to a small town?

What percentages of available jobs is remote?

America is weird too because.....

The country DOES NOT have much in the way of population density. We have 300-ish million people while China has like 5x that many people on less land. India has 4x the people on less land.

Texas.....it's 3x the size of the whole damn UK but has less than half the people. And Texas is #2 in population to Cali.

$$$$ housing costs make sense in crowded/cramped places but here, the market feels inflated and propped up. In a truly "free market", these numbers would tumble but Big Government is gonna let banks/investment firms/foreign nationals swoop up housing stock and whatever other means to keep the market afloat.
I heard a theory that real estate is being inflated because banks would fall apart of real estate was to drop off to far, so now prices is being manipulated to artificially levels

Then when you add to the fact that they letting foreigner entities buy property it’s a double whammy of a situation, similar to Toronto and Vancouver

No the answer is to play the game. Stop trying to fight it, you will only keep losing more time. Get in now. Buy something, anything. Join the military get a VA loan. Stop trying to live in cities you can't afford. There will never be affordable housing in these cities. Move to a smaller city. Topeka Kansas starter home 80k. But yall don't want to live in Kansas. You will make up some BS excuse. As long as there is a strong demand in big cities prices will never drop. Sacrifice 4 years to get a zero down home loan for life. But yall scared to join the military. 4 short years huge benefit. The military is going to get theirs so you need to get yours. Land and property have real value. No one is going to hand it to you cheap.

So now your other solution to housing is for people to get va loans from the military and hope you can find something cheap enough and hope the job market is decent in these cheap towns?

What's your solution? Complain? No one cares. At least my solution is tangible and gets results. Your solution gets you nothing but rent for life. Like I said excuses for days.
