“When was America great for black people?” Colibrehs struggle to answer the question in voice cracking-limp wristed fashion.

If I could cop a sheepskin back in '87, I think I could live.

you can literally see that the city is in ruins in this picture like Penguin's Crown Point

Lmao at the Republican talking points. No one denies what the Democratic Party used to be, but the Republican Party long switched and took up those racist ideals. For anyone that doesn't want to believe it look at an electoral map in 1960. Then look at 1964, then 1968 and tell me what changed.
The parties switched.
The ones who want to tear down confederate monuments in 2024 are not the republicans of old. Those people are now democrats.
Those defending confederate flags today are republicans

It was never great. NEVER. Once they took back reconstruction that was the end of our hope.

I will say our community was doing well in the 70’s and 80s because of industry jobs paying a living wage. That stopped with technology and the increase of foreign labor.

People say that 1950s to early 70s was great for the black family unit, word to Byron Donalds :troll:

Back when a James Evans character could have a wife cooking for him, after a hard day's work.

Seriously thought this a was a Key and Peele skit based off the voices. :francis:

I don't know the setting behind of this but it all looks ridiculous and performative.

Breh wants to go to the reconstruction era :russ: it's equal parts sad and funny

A lot of Gen X brehs romanticize the 90s because they wanted a Redbone thot like Lisa Raye while blasting classic Hip Hop albums.

Black MAGA is the 90s for Gen X, Black MAGA is the 70s for delusional Baby boomers.

All that yelling and he didn't refute anything the other breh was saying. Post reconstruction could have been fantastic for black folks, and they were putting foot to ass in almost ever sector from agriculture, to business, to politics, but NOPE...Cacs couldn't handle it, and mobbed up from sea to shining sea, burning down any and everything black folks had a hand in.

These dudes have no idea of the history they're so blindly fighting for.
Letting the confederates go back home was a mistake.
