When the credits roll and you get left with that empty feeling

You read, watch, play some piece of media that's considered among the best of it's type and when it's over you're left with the empty and yeah you can look for something else but there's nothing quite like that.

I don't know what the proper term for it is but I'm calling it the post-peak media crash. If somebody else has a better term let me know. Must be what drug addicts feel chasing that first high. You sit there and watch the credits like a a kid scraping the bottom of the McDonald's bag for just a few more fries. Maybe there's a post credit scene or maybe there isn't but even if there wasn't you probably still would have sat through them.

The best way I can describe it is this YouTube video. The feeling you got the first time you saw this (not on YouTube) but on a PS4.

You picked the perfect examples lol. Every time an MGS ended I felt some kinda way. I actually delayed finishing MGS4 when I got to the final fight . I haven't played Persona 5 yet but PG4 had a similar impact...there's nothing like it and you're like what now?? I'd probably add in OoT and BoTW.

Persona 3, 4, and 5 all captured that feeling perfectly.

Persona 4 and 5 kinda chickened out and had mostly happy endings but Persona 3's ending was kinda depressing. I guess they saw people down on that and decided to stop with the downer endings.
