Not just the bots but he fully inherited the condescending hipster cac and hypebeast demographic that used to swing from Kanye nuts relentlessly. Same type that would say Yeezus the greatest work of genius in pop music the past 30 years and if you disagree it's because you too stupid to get it :mjlol:

Completely pointless to engage with that type of weirdo. And the die hard Owlettes was even worse, but they mostly thrown in the towel by this point so it's just sad to watch.
Drake fans don't spammthe booth with bullshyt. And you're right all kbots fans are cacs who talk about 'the culture' ...

Different genre dumbass, you mad that Hov discography is some light pack?
Missed the point completely. This is the equivalent of people constantly comparing Chris Brown to Michael Jackson. Or calling him the new MJ. When it doesn’t make sense on any level. Bottom line. Quit dikkriding. That light pack u talkin bout been bumped on the streets more than any of that bullshyt u talkin bout. Get off the internet and live life.

:mjlol: That beef been having the booth in a chokehold since March of last year. But to be fair that beef was the most exciting thing to happen in hiphop in a while.
That shyt was invigorating. I was mad when Drake conceded with The Heart pt 6.

Hip hop is dead :yeshrug:

Kendrick and Drake damn near 40 and there's nobody on deck with any cultural foothold to speak of. It's already a wrap for the generation that followed them. I mean dudes like Gunna will put up streaming numbers but is there anything about they music that's actually worth discussing?

Someone like JID could drop a dope project but the thread on here will die at about 300 replies.

I remember when I realized that Floyd and Pacquiao were ruining boxing in the 2010s. Drake and Kendrick are basically the same shyt for rap.

I'm glad Meek Mill is out of the way though. He shouldn't have been anywhere as big as he became and blackball Philly rap for a decade.

Hip hop kinda died in 2016 to me. Only trash gets attention.

Funnily enough in past generations it would be a young new rapper having a moment like this but the new class is so weak I don't think they could put together an album that hits like GNX. This shyt is like a lost art among the new rappers.
There's always been good rappers. They just don't get any attention. I just started fw a bunch of underrated rappers recently myself.

Kendrick Drake Cole and Future saved hip hop from reaching some all time lows in terms of charting and just overall discussion/ relevancy in the mainstream. All these dudes 40 or damn near 40. The new generation is COOKED idk what to tell you, tell them to start making music people give af about
The way charts are counted nowadays is flawed. It incentivizes bullshyt.

real question is who else thats YOUNG coming up is nice and interesting and can actully be successful with hits?
Good rappers aren't going to get hits like that. We need to stop caring about that. I remember when the internet was about finding a diamond in the rough and pushing them to become a bigger and bigger star. Now you gotta be on to even get attention from internet fans.

Right. Little kids trying to rewrite history they wasn't even around for. Trying to erase the foundation that allowed this generation to reach the heights they did. Next they gonna tell us Marvin Gaye and Otis Redding overrated off nostalgia and was weak compared to Jeremih and Bryson Tiller.

If you really care about this art form, you should be happy Kendrick is on top. Even if you don’t Rick with his music, you should be happy that a guy with reverence for the artform, a lyricist with substance is on top.

I agree, and hope his run this past year make artistry and craft fashionable again. But damn the discussions are insufferable. Especially on here where you got one person controlling twelve accounts that overrun every thread and spam the front page.

Im happy when any black man with talent is on top. My issue is with the politics associated with certain artists. And I’ve always been this way. Not just with Kendrick. I was like this with Drake. Jay is top 3 all time to me with no chance of being replaced and I was this same way with him when it comes to the industry games. So anyone on here that try to act like I’ve changed as a poster, clearly haven’t been following my post since I been on here. They just agreed with me on some shyt. During the Meek vs Drake beef. I can’t stand Meek. I even felt the way he STARTED the beef was some bytch ass shyt. But when I saw them industry games I was rooting for Meek all the way. Yall can do the research. I never been a big fan of Drake. I was on Pusha’s side during his beef with Drake as well. I just don’t like the bullshyt industry politics. Simple as that.
