Paramore’s comeback album from this year is worth checking out.
Can you or someone else please explain the appeal of this band to me, especially to black people? I don't get them at all. I've not heard one tune of theirs that sticks with me or I find myself nodding along to. Not tying to start beef, just genuinely curious :dame:

While new music is easily accessible nowadays, it's overwhelming AF to look for some new music because everything is dictated to listening to the trashiest of trash ass music. Spotify tries its hardest, but the algorithm still manages to pull some wack, obscure shyt out of the hat.

I may have to take a night to find some good piff and just get lost in the music. In times like this, I wish Tower Records was still around. There's something about just browsing and going into an album blindly, just outweighs the streaming era.

Spotify and Apple Music make it easy. They have playlists that curate the best new music in every sub genre that you can imagine. I like the music on the Lifted and Indie Folk, Alt Ctrl Alternative Station and Rock Station playlists in Apple personally. I have other lists in hip hop and other genres.

I gotta give Turbo a look,It used to be Shade45 and Backspin im my early SXM Days but ive been trying to use all the Channels on the App tho
Rock the Bells (ironically LL's channel) is dope.
Shade 45 is dope. Sometimes they have some crazy mixes on there. First wave is cool as well.

9 out of 10 times though I've got it on Kidz Bop for my daughter 😆 🤣 😔

Whew Demon Days and OK Computer had a marsupial set for the college years :whew:

As far as my taste in rock. It ranges from psychodelic (Mars Volta, King Crimson, and Pink Floyd), to grunge.

It's not folks sounding like cacs, it's just the fact that rock is deep in the underground. Like I can easily find some tunes with hip hop and etc, but rock is a different kind of beast all
You would like these bands

And like another poster said, Superheaven is a great grunge band too
