Nicki is MUCH more talented than Tinashe. I know a grip of underground female rappers who are well respected and Nicki could hold her own or outrap all of them. I can't say the same for Tinashe if I'm comparing her to all the singers I've heard who never got a big break.

If Nicki and Rapsody were rapping on the same corner, Nicki would get way more attention. Rapsody has better bars, but Nicki's delivery and presence is a bit more engaging. And I watch enough battle rap (or have listened to enough rap, period) to know it isn't what you say, but how you say it. Rapsody has improved somewhat now that she's using that Kendrick sounding flow, but it's still flat.

I'll give you a pass on this though, because you probably don't remember what it sounds like to hear Nicki really RAPPING.
