I see where you're going with this, but a butt naked Tinashe doesn't have as much sex appeal as Rihanna in a bikini. Nicki is MUCH more talented than Tinashe. I know a grip of underground female rappers who are well respected and Nicki could hold her own or outrap all of them. I can't say the same for Tinashe if I'm comparing her to all the singers I've heard who never got a big break.
Blame the game, no one wanted to pay her for rapping circles around nyggas. She started making that weird music it sold through the roof.

If it was easy as showing some skin, Nitty Scott would have popped by now, right? Nitty Scott is good looking, shows her body, and has some rap skill but people just don't gravitate toward her music.

Yes you do. Any time restricted list or award has a quota involved. How many times have you watched an award show and you knew 3 outta 5 people nominated for the award have a snowball's chance in hell of winning?
