Me too. How does any of the songs of the album compare to that song? Answer: they don´t, and that´s why Jay-Z isn´t as good a songwriter and ultimately not as interesting a rapper as Scarface or Ghostface to a lot of people. But hey, if you relate to someone 98% of the time bigging up himself, without seeming to care about the problems of the world, more power to you. It´s just not my thing. Jay´s music is shallow to me and it bores me rather quickly..

kingdom come was considered a disappointment because they overhyped his comeback and he didnt really provide anything groundbreaking. the tracks with usher and beyonce and the camron diss were doodoo. plus black album was a classic so expectations were higher.

he returned to form on American Gangster tho

kingdom come is a strong 8/10 to me...Songs like lost ones, do u wanna ride, momma i made it, minority report, beach chair and the prelude were all great.

Once you´ve heard the good stuff like Ghost´s verse on Jah World from The W, it´s hard to get excited about tracks like Song Cry and Meet The Parents (or Beach Chair for that matter).
