Yep. I was good friends with 1 since we went to junior hs together. She got pregnant at 15. Didn't see her in school after that until graduation day. Shes good money though. Another I would just see in hs and never spoke to her. Fast foward about 10 years later she ends up at a house party I had. We hit it off and start hooking up. We about 27 yrs old and by that time her twins were 12. She said the dude she got preggo by lied about his age. As we were 27, he was like 42. Didnt pay child support and was mentally abusive to her and would flop often on seeing the kids. I had to dip out of that situation but she understood though.
I remember at like 11, the sex talk was in the air at junior hs and people started getting it in. Then HS it was on. Tried to get in where I fit in. This was when Lil Kim started blowing up and girls began saying all types of wild shyt and stopped being shy about it.

Pre social media days and pre cell phones it was sort of normalized. It wasn't a big deal to have junior and senior high school girls dating guys in their mid 20s. In general you'd get married sooner maybe have kids in your early 20s.
I would agree that the girls and guys doing all the immoral 'bad' things like early sex, drinking, doing drugs, fighting and in gangs all came from some sort of broken home, fukked up parenting situation and all ended up not successful in life. It's actually sad to see growing up and looking back at it how hard it was to break the cycle and how lucky I was myself coming from a 2 parent home.

One thing I will say about the new generation is that social media and the internet has exposed them to all sorts of gore and shyt you wouldn't even begin to imagine seeing back in the days. They are desensitized and no longer feel beng bad is cool. I think there's a general path towards doing and being good. It's actually cool to be a nerd nowadays which is a good thing. Kids coming from fukked up parenting might have a chance because the internet exposes them to good things if they search for it.

YOU’RE STILL MAKING DUMB DECISIONS WHEN YOU’RE A TEEN, that’s why the adults in your life are supposed to protect you and guide you until you get to the point that you are able to make life altering decisions and deal with the consequences on your own.

And that’s my ultimate point. If a 16YO is getting pregnant that is a direct reflection of the household she comes from. Everyone knows that all a man wants is a 16YO’s body. Everyone but the 16YO. THAT is the talk a lot of girls don’t get, which is why they get in bad situations. People don’t expressly state that after sex the woman is the one left holding the bag. It takes 2 to make a baby, but you are the 1 who has to deal with it. He can walk away. People don’t lay it out like that to their 14, 15, 16 YO daughters. If “I love you” doesn’t come with a wedding and a home that dude just wants your body.
When you give young people knowledge they can use it to override their hormones or at least make decisions in the moment that will protect their future.
Hormones are literally designed to make us go sex crazy and start making babies in our teens. It’s our intellect and structured society that forces us to fight the urge until we have achieve certain markers in society- like being able to take care of a family.
A 26YO getting knocked up is on her own with that decision/mistake because she’s lived enough life to see how the world works.
Girls was out here getting picked up from school by 27 year old men, they used to brag about it too

My high school prom was empty as hell because the school had to make a rule that your date could only be 20 or younger
These two Armenian girls I knew in HS had two legit 20-something dudes picking them up after school...they were 15/16 respectively but their parents were alright with it...

My little 17YO cousin just had “the talk” for the millionth time this past weekend over family dinner with her dad, our uncle, etc and her other uncles have already been talking to her since the start of HS. She’s surrounded by good guys who make it very clear what the deal is with the boys/men who might approach her.
Again, what was the home life/dynamic of those HS girls?

I don't think they had a positive home cause some of these women super beautiful and out here doing the same thing but just advanced version cause they learnt to use their looks to their benefit.
And it's like whoever came across them at that age wasn't willing to wait.
There's a sad mix of they had vulnerability then and them realizing they could get a lot of free shyt if they went along with it and that was a good enough trade off for them.
But me and my friends male and female say if only they realized their value
