Most Black men are in prison for drug related offenses so it's pretty huge to take it from a felony to a misdemeanor. Any democrat could have done it, but I doubt most would have cared or even knew it was an issue at all. Still doesn't solve for profit prisons but it is a baby step.

Obama couldn't accomplish much because the way our government is setup. Until we fundamentally change this retarded ass 2 party system all our politics will ever be is a power struggle, ultimately hindering any progress we try to make as a country. There needs to be proportional representation so there will be more parties represented in the house and congress and the major parties will have to form alliances and concessions with the new emerging parties. Electoral college is dumb. A 2 party system is dumb.
