I haven't a clue. I just think it would be cool to have a couple of Congressmen that vote based on the people's needs, rather than the lobbyist's or their own party's needs.
When he leaves office what will Obama have accomplished??? Nothing.

The gay agenda in this country is too strong to be stopped by any political party. It will continue to get stronger. Doesn't matter who the president is.
If there was a Republican president, he would not have ended the "don't ask don't tell" policy.

it's not like it stopped so many gays from being in the military because there were and still are a lot of them in there. Ending don't ask don't tell wouldn't have made a difference either way. It wasn't ground breaking. Symbolic? Yes, but the gay freight train continues to steam roll in the country.

Op needs to digest what is said here, how can he accomplish anything when the majority signed a pact to go against any & everything he tries to accomplish unless it's in their interest

Yup... this is one thing that this pres has accomplished.
The other is that More people than ever - were let down by Gov. The last 5 years have opened more minds and created more healthy skepticism than usual.
gays in the military... I think it was a horrible idea because they were already allowed in the military and now some will act flamin, and others will be violated and discriminated against.... but

- Did get caught up in a sex scandal as the first black pres... and didn't do anything too embarrassing.

politics starts with your city council and your major, so if you want to have a change in your community that is where you start, you dont look toward your president to fix things locally

- the markets corrected itself as far as the auto industry is concerned. Unless you can explain to me how Obama manipulated supply/demand stop it.
- By the time Bin Laden was killed nobody cared. Too Little Too Late. How many people died trying to get him. Bush fukked that up.
- We can't even control our our people from leaking info. What makes you think we can stop China. And lets not forget about Wikileaks which happened on Obama's watch.
- What did the tax stim really do? Unemployment is still high with no real solutions to get it back down to pre 2008 levels.
- We still and will continue to be the fattest countries in the world and heart disease will still being the leading cause of death among americans.

- A figure head indeed but Obama was a weak one. he rarely fought for any of his initiatives and he consistently went into appeasement mode. He gave in too much and his enemies never respected him. By the time he tried to switch it up it was too late. Now he's a lame duck president who's only legacy will be that he was the first and probably only man of color to be president in our lifetimes.
