I honestly think Porter or Thurman will take that spot momentarily............

Canelo as well (as long as he doesn't slip up against Lara)

In the mean time, Ward'll be moved up to the #1 spot until further notice

They say shyt like this all the time for thee longest and some one always pops up to hold it down..

boxing was "dead" and had no mega stars till a little fast pinoy and top notch defensive fighter with a mouth came through...

:smh: casuals

if boxing can survive when ali and tyson retired..two of the biggest worldwide draws boxing has ever seen..then it sure as hell can survive without floyd mayweather :mjlol:

in all honesty I barely missed Floyd when he retired the first time.....Pacquiao (and many others) had plenty of exciting fights during his absence.......and I'm a Floyd fan but let's be real his only draw in the African american community so yeah Fight parties will def suffer for a while (It was weird but in Philly I remember not many bars carrying Pacquiao/Cotto.....I couldn't understand it but after a while everywhere would carry Pacquiao fights.) but someone else will step up and fill the role.
