Was it such a lyrical feat that you stopped rapping yourself? Did it inspire you to start rapping? Did you instantly place him in your top two and not two????

I remember hearing the song not seeing the video.

I didn't like it.

Then it grew on me. Now I take it as a classic video and song.

The end crazy fast flow - innovative and incredible. Something I played to my Dad like look at this display of English.

But the more sinister part is him being honest about not being as popular and mentioning all the censored Columbine raps from Mmlp in plain view. Crazy Em was back on that one.

:wow:

You had to be there. This song had crazy hype before it dropped and it had a bit of controversy for the "lookin boy" lines because it jacked Swagg Team's "Lookin Boy" song. When Em dropped the song, it was underwhelming, but the video was cool. I expected something completely different.

Don't Believe the Hype
Just watched the video for maybe the 2nd time ever in OP (I scarcely recall the Max Headrum bit). Probably have heard the song in its entirety three times now.

I know he's rapping his ass off (fr), but I suspect I'd never have the urge to hear this track again. :yeshrug:

To be fair, I don't like that super-fast-paced rapiddy-rap style.

Also, admittedly, despite recognizing / acknowledging dude's talent and liking a handful of tracks and that BET cypher freestyle, haven't been a fan since '02.

So, long story short: not at all.
