The saiyan and namek saga are EPIC, even up until the cell saga was gucci.

The Namek Saga is needlessly long. There's a ton of filler and that actual fight with Frieza is drawn out excessively.

Too bad the fukked everything up afterwards by having Goku come back. After the Cell saga the show should have been about Gohan defending the planet, juggling his personal life, and training his little brother.

shyt, that's and understatement. Vegeta took more L's than Nas and a lot of them were self inflicted. He'd be talking all kinds of shyt because he thought he was more powerful but when he realized he wasn't he either got his ass beat, started crying, or ran away.

That shyt was hilarious IMO. Dude was seriously feeling himself during the Frieza saga when he thought he was Super Saiyan, next thing you know Frieza started beating that nikka like a pinata.

This right was the downfall of the entire series. As soon as going SSJ was equivalent to taking a shyt the series meant nothing. All the bullshyt Vegeta went thru mentally and physically to reach SSJ was shat on when everybody afterwards would go SSJ easily.

You see Kishi doing that shyt right now wit the sharigan in Naruto. It's just an easy cheatcode power-up that takes no effort.

They should have made it be some shyt that they couldn't control or turn on or off. Some shyt that could only be activated in a near death experience and once they transformed they'd become more aggressive.


The shyt with the Sharigan was fixed for awhile after learning it makes the user go blind, but then that was quickly done away with too.

As kid, DBZ fell off probably around the Buu Saga. GT doesn't exist, that piece of shyt.

I have to admit tho, now I think it fell off after the Freeza saga, the series really should have ended there. SSJ becoming a gimmick, humans and Piccolo getting more and more irrelevant, the explanation for the creation of Cell...

And I'm honestly beginning to think that if I never saw this series as a kid and wound up watching it now the only part of the series I would like is when Goku was a kid going on adventures and fighting Master Roshi, Tien and Piccolo in the tournaments. Fights were fairly creative, a lot of juvenile humor which I like and majority of characters weren't worthless. Once it got into DBZ it became too much of a powerup and big energy beam fest.

I actually never watched it as a kid (There was just too much piff out back then to keep up Batman TAS, XMEN TAS, Spiderman TAS, Superman TAS etc) but I recently got into it and its not that bad. I only watched about 13 episodes, I don't have the time to watch the hundreds. but from what i saw it was solid
