im a fan of him and push and I been saying for the longest that his subject matter is limited but that's his lane and he is one of the best rappers in that category right now.

He ain't just rappin about cocaine it's just the predominant imagery he uses to get his points and his visuals across.
The message is always deeper.
Plus MNIM was a great album. Damn near every track was hard as fukk.

- When you realized his age and that he dresses like a 14 year old female tomboy
- When you realized he literally has one subject in a decade+ of rhyme
- When Reup gang broke up and it dawned on you that he cant carry tracks by himself.
- When his album came out, and you tried so hard to like it...to realize...average is average
- When it dawned on you "wait...he really DOES think he's the best"
- When you realized he is Rick Ross without the charisma.
- When his brother abandoned rap and he doubled down on coke rhymes.
- When his cocaine ducktales got sillier as his career progressed.
- When you found out who is malice and who is pusha....and realized that malice was always better.

Clipse music as a duo is much better than Pusha's solo material...and yes, Malice is better. But Pusha is a masterful wordsmith. That's why his coke raps don't get dull to me. He's still very imaginative and witty, despite his subject matter being limited. His limited subject matter is why he could never be an elite level emcee, but that doesn't mean he still isn't fukking dope. He still has bars for days and makes quality music.
There are a lot of emcees that don't have a wide breadth of subject matter, but are just very good at a niche and stick with it. Pusha T, Redman, Raekwon, Rick Ross, Prodigy...just appreciate what they do.
