I'm not saying just b/c he went to a non-D1 school he's no good.....but wouldn't he have at least transferred to a bigger school if he was that good? If he was even concerned about the NFL? Couldn't he have played immediately after transfer b/c it's a non-D1 school?
But dude played his entire career against sub-par collegiate talent. While your school is the Alabama of Division 2, playing against mostly cupcakes. They got up for one game against an average D1 team every year or so. But week to week, he's throwing against DB's who probably have no chance at playing in the NFL. Dudes who were slow to break on the ball. D-lineman who were probably slow/unable to get off blocks, etc.
Anybody can look good at a combine throwing against the air.
Hope he pans out. But I just don't see the logic.
