If you go back to the 90's and look at the women who were considered top tier they were all slim or fit. Halle, Nia Long, En Vogue, Jasmine Guy, etc. Janet Jackson had put some weight on then came back toned with the flat stomach.

Even the rap videos then and the early 2000's had slim women. I'm wondering what the exact year or turning point was.

:stopitslime:
By these two tracks coming out in second half of '03 I would say going into mid '00s.. We were into south taking over hip hop and then speeding into strip club era..

Yeah man, shyt's crazy

havn't met a skinny girl that loves being skinny

ig fukkin up their mentality big time
I dated a chick who was slim with curves but felt insecure because she wasn’t thick enough :beli:

She would take “fat pills” to make her gain weight :beli:

I reassured her that she was fine, and didn’t need them. Needless to say it was a reoccurring theme in our relationship. Mind y’all this chick was 30, petite and still feeling some type of internal pressure to be “thick” like an ig model. :snoop:

Glad I ended that as well.

Same tactic that I used on the other girl @the elastic

It works :whew:

The problem is that you will have a crackhead breh who be like "breh my Girl look like sza nobody cant tell me shyt!" :blessed:

Then you see her and she got30 extra pounds and dont have the budget or doctors, her stomach look like balled up paper hanging over and he start saying shyt like "breh just bend her over her ass still fat!" or "p*ssy aint got no face breh!":mjlol:

When you already pointing to a star with the budget, doctors, photoshop skills, editors, etc. Its impossible for general public to reach that kinda standard and keep up

So you sayin the South is the reason why being fat became the wave.....

"Big girls need love too"
Yea breh we like our girls thick like gumbo, not sure but I dont think its coincidence that south came up at same time and standards changed. Even with that said, what was considered thick back then would not be thick enough by today comical cartoonish social media photoshop fueled standards.. We have definitely gone off the tracks..

Most of the girls in that tip drill video are too skinny for most now :francis:
