it's crazy how teenagers stopped hanging in the mall. when i was in HS....that was THE spot to go to on fridays.

Video games/Computers/Smart Phones/etc. There is no need for them to go there to interact with their peers anymore.

This is also why you don't see kids playing outside during the summer and why most media-friendly hip-hop sucks.

A lot of malls started policies to stop teenagers from loitering. If they was under a certain age or had no chaperone they were kicked out by mall security.
