when did malls basically fade off into obscurity?

whenever i go to malls now to either go shoppin' at jc pennys or macy's, the malls are basically vacant space :wow:

i remember the days of when they use to be packed but now they seem irrelevant as hell with all the orderin' online that people do

it's been some time but when did malls fall off though? :patrice:

Brick and mortar ate the POO POO with the rise of Amazon as stated. Then the big boys started offering online deals...this put the screws to a lot of Mom and Pop shops, malls,
bookstores, etc. Think of Sears. And Barnes and Nobel. You would walk into those places, look at the product, price check, then order online. Bye bye jobs, tax base, etc.
