So are people in here really comparing an Iraqi journalist throwing a shoe at Bush with a US politician yelling out at the State of The Union address?
Or how about when Rick Santorum pretty much called Obama a "******" during a speech? Obama gets disrespected by his peers, which to me says much more than a foreign journalist whose country is occupied by US soldiers getting mad at Bush.
And bringing up Eminem is moot, because that's a hip-hop artist. Let's talk about how much backlash the Dixie Chicks received when their lead singer or whatever criticized Bush and the invasion of Iraq. Got pulled from the air, boycotted their tour. Went from singing the national anthem at the Super Bowl to another country star putting their pic next to Saddam.
Bush was mocked (for his speech, etc.), Obama is hated. I think that's where the difference lies.
