Matthyse is too much of a brute and TBH i dont think hes that good.
I said from the beginning Maidana is too much for Broner to handle, but this fight will be competitive. Matthysse is not skilled and doesnt bang nearly as hard. A focused, well trained Broner can school him:steven:

I've always felt like whoEVER fights Broner is gonna have to either KO him or drop him at LEAST twice. I just cant see anyone outpointing him.....especially not Matthysse.
Fights are fought in the ring though, so we just have to wait and see.

I actually like broner in this one. If he can start fast he can rack up rounds early. But that pseudo philly shell/ken Norton defense aint gonna work. Johndavid Jacksn would have this dude right IMO
My two cents brehs, Matthysse is overrated as is Garcia, and we saw how their fight turned out, as well as Garcia's followup with Herrera. On the flipside, Maidana should have been able to take Broner out, but he couldn't, and at one point during that shalackin he got hurt himself in the 11th. That said, I'm running with Broner if this matchup comes to fruition.
