That boy was the greatest entertainer in the sport! Point Blank!

In his prime he was pound for pound better than anyone i ever seen in the ring as far as offense and hand speed. Nobody should have hand speed that fast! Dude used to run punching drills on nigggas during fights and the slow mo replay used to look like real time as far as how fast that nigggas hands was moving (see the Lacy fight).

*oh yeah don't move this shyt to the boxing forum, them niggus is losers that think they know everything and nobody even goes in there at the end of the day

I will say it until the day I day - in his prime, at his best, Roy Jones Jr. is the greatest boxer in the history of the sport.

People let the fact that he fell off cloud who he was.
I strongly agree,( i just ain't wanna be the first to say it) dude was so dominant in his prime it wasn't even funny. His hand speed was on some alien shyt!

Roy was a freak athlete and did some shyt that had me :gladbron: watchin the tv.

The problem is dudes who rely on athleticism like that tend to fall off hard and early. Peep Bernard Hopkins, lost to Roy in his prime, but he's damn near 50 and still winning fights. It's boxing athleticism versus boxing skill, the athleticism is more spectacular and explosive, but the skill stays around longer.

bhop never went up and cleared out every division like roy.
then, after becoming a hw, went back down and damaged his physiology, to defend a title he could have just dropped.
plus, roy bodied bhop when you would judge the height of their boxing skill.
not to mention, bhop never got in ring with imo,...the most dangerous boxer in the sport:

GLEN JOHNSON

when, johnson was at the height of his boxing prowess.
plus, roy fought johnson weight depleted and with his body's physiology completely out of whack.

which roy did just to chase history.
as, that was all that there was left legacy wise for roy in boxiing to do.

if you mention roy's losses...
they all have asterik's beside them.
as there is a much larger story to the losses than just what is printed on the box.

Go ahead and defend the steroid use :feedme:

i watch wrasslin,....
i watch and root roid users on, everyday.
so, what are you saying....

i don't and won't use them, but if somebody else uses them.
i can't control that.

yet, real talk,....

nobody who used roids against him was going to beat him, on or off them.
before he went down in weight, so what are you saying.
you talking like you seen somebody actually better than roy jones, not named sugar ray robinson.

who was going to beat roy.
if he never damaged his phsyiology and chased the fukk'n impossible.
don't say hopkins, or toney.
as he already beat/outclassed them on their best actual days as fighters.

so, who are these fighters who would have beat roy.
before he went up and came down twentyfive pounds of muscle after winning the hw title.
