I'm a product of a crack dealing household in the 80s ....I witnessed alot ...been in the house when we got busted ....had them boys bust damn near every window out our house and came in looking like ninjas with rifles...these cacs put a gun on my ass at 10 years old and I'll never forget that...if you actually lived it you know

There’s no gang violence associated with Heroin, Meth, or any other hard drug? I don’t know anything about modern day gang warfare but I’m sure they’re killing each other over percs and benzos now.

Dude, nowhere near the same thing.

Ask anybody in here who grew up in the ghetto in the '80s & '90s.

It was worst than 3rd world countries

It ended in my state when they made all of those live camera's on every corner. Nobody could really post up on the block and hustle no more. shyt it's still fiends around but the only people really still selling crack is the ones that had mad clientele, and they doing it out of trap houses. I know a couple nikkaz that's millionaires be cause of there traps.

This id about the CRACK ERA and how long the aftershocks remained.
still seeing them on the streets now. but I see a lot less crack heads... more pill heads. crack heads were energetic. these opiate brehs are passed out everywhere.

up here the crack heyday ended late 90's maybe but the hangover carried on into the mid 2000's. I know people I went to highschool with that became crackheads in the mid 2000's. When I seen the transition to most street junkies being opiate or meth users then I knew it was the end of one era and beginning of another. back in the day it wasn't uncommon to get asked for crack by cacs downtown very casually.

As a 80s baby...theres several valid reasons..... Obviously it slowed down do to the harsh laws sh1t wasn't worth doing life...plus in chicago it was terrorism..the projects was hell on earth...people talking about 500 murders..in 92 there was 1200 murders...the money was obscene I was young but I remember family members and the old talk about blocks doing 30-40k a day on the westside...and as a crackbaby myself I saw first hand how it destroyed families communities all around...because my parents used drugs I never wanted nothing to do with hard drugs...coke is still prevalent and it weirds me out still I don't like to be around it... I can remember the smell vividly...addiction is addiction...hell some nikkas make weed look bad...getting high is getting high...its still crackheads but I don't know any block serving crack...it was just replaces with something else...but the amount of money i seen in 00-01 I see why hustlers was trapping...i had a 6-8 month run as a teenager that was outrageous....plus cameras went up and indictments and sweeps... I hardly hear of such now....

Yeah, these new age drug addicts are harmless without guns.

The suburbs
:beli: You're talking about the Wal-Mart across the street from the Popeyes... What purse snatching breh? My little brother lives out that way and it's safe as fukk over there, his ole lady goes to that Wal-Mart by herself at 12am.

There is no drug that comes with the violence of cocaine my man... In the late 80's early 90's you had houses full of people getting knocked off for coke. These lil dudes selling weed and running around with K's aren't knocking sh1t over, ever notice how clean their guns are?
Heroin?
