Snowden, HRC, Winner, Berger, Petraeus, Trump, Biden all mishandled and retained classified documents when they weren't supposed to. Biden storing classified information in his office, garage, and house is just as bad as Trump storing at Maralago or a storage unit. It doesn't matter if you have a top security clearance. They know the rules and broke them. You just don't want Biden to face the same consequences as others and that's why Trump also hasn't faced any. Yet you want trump to go to prison and not Biden? Both should be charged with mishandling classified information and trump or lying and obstruction. There's a different set of rules they are treated by so they won't be.

Neither Trump nor Biden should have had any classified material in their possession. During a presidential transition period, the records from each administration are supposed to be turned over to the legal custody of the U.S. National Archives.
It is unlawful to knowingly or willfully remove or retain classified material. Failure to properly store and secure classified material poses risks to national security if it should fall into the wrong hands.

I know that investigations take time, I do. But it was absolutely foolish for the Justice Department to take this long in the insurrection investigations. Now half the people he was investigating are in control of congress, not to mention that he gave Trump enough time to announce again.
This investigation should have been wrapped up in spring of 2022 and indictments should have happened then.
I could present a case for insurrection charges against Trump to a grand jury at this point, and I'm not even a lawyer.

Biden was a private citizen in possession of classified information just like Trump. I do know the difference and it's been shown that they've been classified and top secret. You can point to oops it was at my former office, but the garage and house? The only difference is trump refused to return them and obstructed. For political reasons he won't be indicted.
