What's your leg routine looking like?

Legs are something that should never be neglected, and all that leg talk in the random thoughts thread got me thinking more about them. The leg extension machine has a growing reputation of being bad for your knees among other things, so brehs need to be aware on that. What's your leg workouts looking like?

Mine usually looks like:
Squats (This is pretty much most of my workout)
Some kind of calf raises, most of the time I do more than one calf exercise (standing, seated, etc.)
Hip Abduction machine
Hamstring Curls
Some time I do stiff legged deadlifts (mostly on days I do both legs and back cuz it helps both)
Every once in a while I will do leg extensions, but now I'm like :whoa: and are about to drop them altogether. I'm gonna start doing lunges more, cuz it's been a while since I did those.

Mix it up a lot. Some months I do straight body weight with the focus on Cardio. When my knees get to like 80 percent, I do leg presses and squats.

I only do legs because of the benefits for your core, and stuff

I just got back on legs after an injury, but I wear slim pants and jeans so I dont want to OD on legs.

With they chest all out looking tough,like cuz little do you know your legs is the strongest thing on your body so if we scrap im rushing you and scooping you by your little ass weak ass legs them upper body muscles aint gonna save ya bruh:russ: if ya legs weak as shyt

I'm with y'all I don't get cats who skip legs. .. It truly doesn't make sense, working strictly your upper body for the girls but ignoring the fact that if came down to it and we had to throw down for some reason power is generated from the hips and legs so those arm punches ain't gonna get it done :bryan:

I enjoy working legs more so than the upper body vanity stuff. It's the grind of it. You learn a lot about urself on those grueling days.


Squats
Front Squats
Bulgarian Splits (look easy as fukk until u do them :to: )
Hack Squat

Single leg presses
Lunges, weighted Lunges
Weighted Step Ups

Hamstring Curls
Glute Ham Raises
Stiff legged Deadlifts


Prefer Standing calve raises or working calves on the leg press.

Not all in the same day obviously but these are usually what I tinker around with for legs.

:huhldup: I'm guessing that's a general list where you just pick and chose what exercise to do on leg day.



This morning I went hard on the squats and hamstring curls. About 6 sets each. Also did some seated and 45 degree calf raises. Was gonna do some lunges, but I was limited on time.


For yall that do do lunges, how heavy do yall usually go for if you squat on the same day? Also, do you prefer the barbell or the dumbbells when you do them?
