Went through 4 different transitions Life/Emmerdale --> First Band On The Moon --> Gran Tourismo --> Long Gone Before Daylight/Super Extra Gravity and kept making piff. The only song that everyone knows (Lovefool) is far from their best and even that song's irony is underappreciated.

The first album is a classic and each one after that is a little worse than the one before. So start with the debut Turn On The Bright Lights, then Antics (still really good), next Our Love To Admire (just okay - a few standouts, and last the self titled (Interpol) which was not very good at all.
