Ads are just to sell things homie. Not always indicative of the final product. And that can be either a good thing or a bad thing

Yeah he was out of the picture for 3 and 4 and it shows. He did the story for 2 and I'm sure some of the scripting

Yeah but they didn't use his script for part 2, supposedly his best work he ever wrote according to Shane. Killin off Riggs.

Yup that's what he said. And I think they used some of it because it looks like Riggs is headed in that direction for a portion of the movie

Even the end, they don't show him survive the gun shot wounds. Just pans away and ends. Always thought that was a little strange.
