why get annoyed at another person's experience?I will say this, I do always get slightly bothered by that "college wasn't worth it" crowd that went to college and didn't apply themselves or try to intern or gear themselves towards getting a job. College is worth it if you know what you're doing almost regardless of the degree if you have a very specific drive and know what you want. I don't know any of my friends who regrets going to college, but they are also all employed.

im assuming these people are saying it's not worth it for them, and if your situation does not line up with theirs, then it would be pretty much assumed that their comments dont apply to you, just people in the same boat as them, which would actually be a pretty important perspective for such teens to listen to.This question doesn't respond to the sentiment in my post. The point is the people telling people that college overall is not worth it. Saying people need access to better information and that college is not worth it are two different things. We're on the same page.

Eh....no. Almost regardless of degree? Not true. There are not internships available for everybody in every field. Drive or not applying yourself has nothing to with it if there aren't job prospects in your field.I will Say this, I do always get slightly bothered by that "college wasn't worth it" crowd that went to college and didn't apply themselves or try to intern or gear themselves towards getting a job. Might be true.
But I hate when the untalented and mediocre people knock college, I think the "college wasn't worth it" crowd are probably mostly underachievers who really don't have any potential.
