JYD could and really should be maybe ahead of Ron Simmons..he was so fukking over and SO LOVED for the 80s era. Yet Ron won the WCW title from Vader and it popped the industry.

As much as I like Ron Simmons and think him winning the WCW world title was an important moment in wrestling, WCW shyt all over his title reign. Dude was basically a supporting character to everyone while champ and I don't think he even main evented any of the big shows that happened while he was champ.
