I can see where he's coming from. I've been accused to the same thing a few times by both black and white folks. I grew up middle class, in a military community that was very diverse, and I had friends all races and nationalities. What used to piss me off the most is that blacks and whites both used to clown me because I'd never say nikka, and I would tell the black folks I knew not to say that shyt either. Oh, and I guess black folks shouldn't listen to techno either .It also used to piss me off, and still does somewhat, that I have forgotten more about black history than these clown ass dudes have ever known. It seems as though we tend to embrace ignorance and keep a crabs in a bucket type mentality. Not saying that you should put your trust in white folks either, I'm not Uncle Ruckus, or anybody like that. I just wish there were more areas of succesful black folks that embraced intellectualism. I'm sure there are areas like that where I can eventually settle down and raise a family (I've heard that the DMV may fit that description), but I haven't seen any in the areas I've lived (Nashville area, North Carolina, Kentucky, St. Louis area, and few other Southern states).

Whos we. Anyone who acts white has the obvious appearence, cadence and use of language of someone who has been cut off from their people. Someone who doesnt talk to black people, cant relate to other black people and fears black people the same way your average cac does. Literally someone who forgets their black.

Now you have some people that are broke that assume anyone who speaks English like Carlton Banks is trying to act white but it goes deeper then that because they really havnt been exposed to the full gambit of black people outside of the ones they encounter in the mail room at their jobs, outside the VIP lounge at the club or in traffic with white hoes in their convertibles. The least uneducated of every race often set the rules for who is Truely (add race, nationality). The easiest way to get the respect of people like this is to beat the shyt out of them, smoke, drink hard liquor or mentor in poor neighborhoods.
